Langley

A solo day hike of Mount Langley from Horseshoe Meadow.

First view of Langley from Cottonwood Lakes

Langley from top of New Army Pass. New Army Pass climbs 300 ft. higher and it is longer then Old Army Pass. In addition, New Army Pass climbs right underneath a cornice which was still there in mid July. It may be a problem earlier in the season. Old Army Pass did have snow on it too, so earlier in the season I would recommend an ice axe for either of these passes.

Old Army Pass. The trail goes left of the couloir.
