Point Bonita Lighthouse

The current lighthouse was constructed at "Land's End" in the 1870's to replace an earlier lighthouse, which was built on top of the highest hill in the area some 260 feet above sea level. The original narrow pathway was washed out in a storm during the 1940's. Today a suspension bridge provides access to the lighthouse.
