Alamere Falls

At only few places along the California Pacific Coast, waterfalls flow directly into the ocean. Here at Point Reyes National Seashore, Alamere Falls, are accessible only on foot via a 4.5 miles trail ending on some steep and loose slopes. At high tide the surf reaches the base of the fall. Alamere Falls in Point Reyes National Seashore is located about 20 miles north of San Francisco along Highway 1.
