McWay Cove Waterfall

At only a few places along the California Pacific Coast, waterfalls flow directly into the ocean. Here at Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park, the McWay Cove Waterfall is accessible via a 1/4 mile trail. At high tide the surf sometimes reaches the base of the fall. Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park is located about 40 miles south of Monterey along Highway 1.
